We love to perform unplugged, so acoustic venues are always welcome – we don't need electricity to be electrifying! Three Vocal Mic's, 3 Instrumental Mics (compressed), three bottles of water, and three solid (non folding) armless chairs or stools will fill the technical requirements. Billeting is welcome so long as it is cat free accommodation. A tin of sardines and a smile is all we need (well actually you can keep the sardines!).
Performance Style Gopher Baroque is know for our "Canadian Acoustic Blend"! We like to perform for a variety music to audiences of all ages, sizes and demographics.
We perform standard 45 minute sets for Festivals, Coffee Houses, Concerts and other stage oriented shows - these may be combined, shortened or altered as requested. A fifteen minute break between sets is required.
Our typical sets include accapella, up tempo, short ballad, instrumental, and original contemporary folk. We also designs and presents Living History and Reenactment roles for schools, museaums, festivals, period events and private celebrations.
We will travel to your event in North America or farther abroad bringing with us bright and lively tunes, compelling stories, beautiful love songs, upbeat footstompers and when appropriate, bawdy tunes.
Our Base Rate Prices Are Reasonable! Concert Base: $1000.00 Full Day Base: $1500.00 * A Note About Base Rates: air fare, accommodation, meals and/or travel may require additional funds or grant applications - let’s talk!
